Award Winning
Hit The Headlines was set up in 2004 by John Edwards and Jenny Sims, both fully qualified journalists with years of experience working on local
newspapers. It is based in Bridlington, East Yorkshire.
Within a year of its creation, the company had already tasted success. In June 2005, Hit The Headlines won a competition run by BBC Look North to find the
best new business idea in East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. This led to two appearances on television, when John and Jenny were asked to create a ‘cheeky’
newspaper front page for the programme’s presenter Peter Levy, which was given to him live on air.
Football sponsorship
Hit The Headlines is the new shirt sponsor of footballer Kevin
Edwards. Kevin is the goalkeeper for Garden Village FC, who play in
Division Three of the Welsh National League, and we wish him well
as he takes to the pitch bearing our name. Hit The Headlines has
also kindly sponsored his training shirt.

About Us
Hit The Headlines produces personalised newspaper front page gifts for special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, births, retirements and anniversaries.
If you know someone who is making headlines for all the right reasons, we can put them on the front page of their very own newspaper. Their name will
appear in the headline, the photo will be splashed on the page and the story will be adapted so it includes the names of their friends and family, their job,
hobbies, and a whole host of other information.
The gifts are designed to be as personal as possible, so you can guarantee that nobody else will have bought the same present as you. You even get to choose
which adverts appear on the front page - and there are dozens to choose from.
So if your son has dreamed of becoming the next football superstar, your Mum wants a big birthday party with all her favourite celebrities as the guests
or you think your Dad deserves to be knighted by the Queen, we can make those dreams come true...well in print at least.
And once you have got the gift, you will need something just as special to wrap it in. Hit The Headlines also produces wrapping paper, with your own special
message on it, and matching gift tags. So if you are looking for a present for someone who has got everything, Hit The Headlines can design it.
And as well as gifts and wrapping paper, Hit the Headlines also makes personalised greetings cards, again designed to look like newspaper front pages, for
all occasions.
